PLATINUM BUSINESS AWARDS 2020 (formerly known as SME Recognition Award) is an annual award programme organised by the SME Association of Malaysia to honour SMEs and individuals for their outstanding achievements and contributions in their respective fields.
Launched in 2002, this Award programme is into its 19th consecutive year of Award Presentation. As one of the pioneering awards for SMEs in Malaysia,

PBA has gained extensive recognition among SMEs, the business community, and the public sector.
Beside showcasing the achievements of Malaysia’s top SMEs, this Award also provides a premium platform to benchmark the service/quality of SMEs, as well as enhance their intellectual properties and brand image in the global marketplace.

The integrity and quality of the Platinum Business Awards is jealously protected by the organisers, supported by a reputable independent auditor whose role is to assess, evaluate and shortlist the potential Award winners for final judging by a top-class Selection Committee comprising leading business personalities.

This year when the world is tested to the greatest extend, we at Platinum Business Awards will push on to celebrate phenomenal achievement and resilience from Malaysia’s greatest businesses!

The theme “RESURGENCE” tells the tale of the resurfacing of strength, versatility and bravery to voyage through the unsettling wave of world wide pandemic. We all chose the path of entrepreneurship where it defines the realism of our lives, hence shaping the entire society. Platinum Business Awards will always be the beacon of light where everyone of us stand together against all odds we can possibly imagine.
